In each cohort, there are two sets of 5-day classes held 2 months apart. It will take 3 months to complete all 10 classes.

Are there any prerequisites to enroll in the Kink Aware Certification Program?

Generally, this program is open to all mental health professionals and students in related fields. Basic knowledge in psychology, counseling, or social work is recommended to get the most out of the coursework.

What can I expect upon completing the program?

Upon completion, you’ll receive a certification acknowledging your expertise as a kink-aware clinician. This credential can be displayed on your professional website and added to your qualifications, helping attract clients who seek kink-aware, inclusive therapy.

This can be your chosen specialty as part of the IICS doctoral program or as a standalone certification through the TCA.
